About The Author

​Born in a cold northern town of Manitoba, I have lived on the north shore of Quebec at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario's land of lakes on the Canadian Shield,  the foothills of Alberta's Rocky Mountains and now make my home on Vancouver Island in the Pacific Northwest of British Columbia. 

I am of Metis heritage, have a passion for the natural beauty of Canada and enjoy learning about and incorporating its history into my stories.

I have a great appreciation for life and enjoy being wrapped in nature.  For me, it is the foundation of healthy living.
